The Challenge
Lack of orchestrated GTM

Most events lack a deliberate, orchestrated go-to-market plan, so attendee, exhibitor, and sponsor outreach ends up as disconnected tactics instead of a focused growth engine.

01
Disconnected Outreach
Email, exhibitor promotion, paid media, sponsor value, and association communications often move in separate lanes. The audience experiences activity, but not a coordinated reason to act now.
02
Weak Conversion Architecture
Without segmented messages, a disciplined cadence, retargeting logic, and clear value by audience type, registration momentum stalls and early-bird windows lose urgency.
03
Attendance Plateaus
Many strong events are not suffering from a production problem. They are stuck because the story, segments, offers, and proof points are not working together as a growth system.
04
Missed Exhibitor Value
Exhibitors and sponsors need confidence that the right people will be in the room. A clearer GTM story improves attendee quality, sponsor confidence, and the event's commercial narrative.
Our Offerings
Three ways to turn event marketing into an orchestrated growth engine.
Step 1
1
Paid Brand Diagnostic
A rigorous audit of your event story, audience segmentation, exhibitor value, and conversion path, delivered as a prioritized growth opportunity report.
  • Brand & message architecture review
  • Audience gap & segmentation analysis
  • Competitive positioning scan
  • Conversion bottleneck identification
Step 3
3
Activation Advisory
Ongoing strategic oversight as your teams execute — ensuring message consistency, partner alignment, and conversion pacing hit their targets.
  • Content pillar & creative direction
  • Partner alignment workshops
  • Monthly KPI pacing reviews
  • Campaign governance support
The Method
High-impact strategy before registration pacing becomes a problem.
1
Diagnose
Understand Your Audience & Gaps
We map your attendee segments, benchmark current positioning, and surface the conversion bottlenecks costing you registrations.
2
Position
Build a Message That Creates Urgency
We define a brand value proposition and content pillars that shift the narrative from feature lists to genuine professional cost-of-missing.
3
Plan
Design the Activation Roadmap
A 180-day omnichannel plan covering email cadences, paid media, PR, content, exhibitor amplification, and sponsor narratives, with each phase mapped to segment and funnel stage.
4
Execute
Govern, Measure & Optimize
We align your agency partners to one playbook, track KPI pacing monthly, and resolve cross-partner gaps before they affect the event.
Content Strategy
Five pillars that drive every segment from awareness to attendance.
Business Imperative: the cost of not showing up
Deal Velocity: days that build the year
Future-Proof Intelligence: see what's coming first
Career-Defining Moments: connections that accelerate you
Experiential FOMO: what cannot happen online

Each pillar maps to segment-specific messaging, giving attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, partners, and association leaders language that speaks to their specific professional stakes.

Why It Works
What strategy unlocks that execution alone cannot.
01
Deeper Client Embed
Owning strategic inputs — not just activation outputs — creates relationships that begin months before launch and extend post-show.
02
Measurable Attendance Growth
Sharper positioning and segmentation improve attendee quality, exhibitor value, and conversion efficiency across all channels.
03
Early Risk Detection
Strategy surfaces weak positioning, segmentation gaps, and conversion bottlenecks before they harm registration velocity.
04
Better Partner Orchestration
One playbook aligns your web, email, PR, and paid media agencies so every asset reinforces the same message map.
05
Reusable Frameworks
Portable modules — brand refresh, audience growth, exhibitor amplification — become repeatable assets for every future show.
06
Executive-Level Access
Strategy work elevates conversations from event operations to CMOs, business unit leaders, and association leadership.
Founder
Ken Dec
Peak Attendance

Ken Dec is the founder of Peak Attendance, a veteran event and marketing leader who has spent his career sitting on both sides of the aisle: as a Chief Marketing Officer responsible for pipeline and brand, and as a president and senior executive inside leading experiential and production firms. He has led corporate marketing and demand generation for growth-stage companies and for The Expo Group, where he owned event strategy, attendee acquisition, exhibitor marketing, and analytics for complex B2B shows. Before that, he ran Boston and Nashville offices of Ovation and MC2 and led brand experience strategy teams serving global brands at GPJ, giving him a rare, inside view of how agencies, venues, sponsors, and exhibitors actually make decisions. At Peak Attendance, Ken brings this combined perspective to association and brand leaders who are stuck on an attendance plateau, helping them diagnose what is really holding back growth and design practical, story-driven campaigns that fill seats, energize exhibitors, and turn one flagship event into a year-round engine for membership, revenue, and loyalty.
